THE AREA AROUND THE VILLA

Tholaria Villa is located in Agios Onoufrios area, close to many beautiful beaches and local amenities. Agios Onoufrios is a small seaside village of Cape Akrotiri, which is located 8km north of Chania.

For daily necessities, the small town of Kounoupidiana is only a short drive away (2,5 Kms), offering a nice variety of shops. Chania town with its venetian harbour and winding lanes is a mere 20 minute drive away, waiting to be explored. Local restaurants and tavernas are scattered throughout the peninsula and Chania town offers an amazing array of restaurants from fine dining to traditional Cretan tavernas. Being just 20 minutes from the national highway, it is easy to explore the surrounding area with its archeological sites, waterpark, beaches, gorges and villages.
